Before doing this I didn't know you could visit Pompeiii. I thought it was an uninhabitable wasteland.

That was soooo cool! Do people run this place? Do you have to pay to get in? And why is the grass so green and the rest is shabby? Do people take care of it?

In one of the pictures it shows a ditch with little steps that stick out of the ditch. Is that suppose to be a water route with tiny steps for people to step on?
