I learned that for breakfast they ate only bread, cheese and fruit, but for the rest of the meals they ate a LOT. They only ate with their hands too, so they were given a bowl of water to wash there hands out when they switched foods... kinds of reminds me of paint brushes and how you have to wash them out before you switch colors. Girls played with dolls and boys played "soldiers".
I learned that girls and boys both played with walnuts. One of the most popular games was throwing a walnut into a pile of three other nuts, without making them fall. About school i learned that they had to write and read in Greek and Latin.

I think its really cool how the tickets to get into the theater were made out of animal bones. Also were the swords that the kids played with real?
